About Us

Kind Fitness was created with a heart for people and a vision for movement that feels empowering, not intimidating. From the beginning, the goal has been to provide a comfortable, judgement-free zone where women of all fitness levels can come to move their bodies, build confidence, and feel supported every step of the way.

Founded by Meagan Youmans, an RN, Kind Fitness was shaped by her experiences both inside and outside the healthcare setting. Through her work at the hospital, Meagan regularly cares for individuals who are unable to move their bodies due to illness or injury - an experience that constantly reinforces the belief that movement is a privilege and should never be taken for granted.

 

This perspective became the foundation of Kind Fitness. Rather than focusing on appearance or comparison, we emphasize celebrating what your body can do, speaking kindly to yourself, and approaching movement about how you feel when you show up and how that confidence carries into everyday life.

 

As a mother and working professional, Meagan understands the demand of real life and the importance of creating workouts that are accessible, effective, and encouraging. Our classes are intentionally designed to meet women where they are, honor every season of strength, and foster a supportive, inclusive environment.
